New article on PREV_PKDL's contribution in the fight against leishmaniasis
The article titled "Expanding research capacity into neglected tropical diseases" by Prof Dr Paul Kaye was published on July 8th on Pharmaphorum a leading online destination for healthcare and pharmaceutical industry news, insight and debate.
The article examines the challenges of developing tools to fight neglected tropical diseases, in particular leishmaniasis , and how the work developed within the PREV_PKDL project is advancing the search for a safe and efficacious vaccine for post kala-azar dermal leishmaniasis (PKDL).
